Streszczenie
This work reviews selected papers presenting results on the methods concerning to resolve the following
problems in power systems: rapidly growing number of renewable energy sources, declining electric energy consumption,
and the necessity for reconstructing the transmission and distribution grid. All of the above problems require new operational
attributes such as: resilience (before the use of the self-healing option), trans-active energy, hosting capacity, microgrid
controller as an energy management system (MEMS), and the development of new projects in Europe, the USA, China, and
other countries. Finally, this work highlights important problems which need to be resolved by researchers, operators and
regulators in the future.
