Technical diagnosis as an important engineering tool of electrical power facilities
Diagnoza techniczna jako ważne narzędzie inżynierii obiektów elektroenergetycznych
Adam Baryłka, Jerzy Obolewicz
Streszczenie
Electricity facilities are technical facilities used by humans to convert available forms of energy into electricity
used to power all industrial processes, as well as to power machines and devices used in everyday life. Today, electricity is
a field of engineering knowledge called electrical engineering, which describes specialist knowledge, skills and competences
necessary in the production, processing (conversion), transmission, distribution, storage and use of electricity in a systemic
perspective, and technical diagnostics is its important tool. The task of technical diagnostics in electrical engineering,
depending on the needs, is to examine, document, evaluate and properly classify the actual state of the functions of
individual system elements and its material parameters, as well as the impact of the state of the element on the state of the
entire system or its part. The paper discusses the principles of technical diagnostics that should be subjected to electrical
power facilities at various stages of life, i.e. design, construction and operation, in accordance with the provisions of the
construction law.
