Estimation of peak loads in residential electricity by means of a coincidence factor method
Szacowanie mocy szczytowych odbiorców mieszkaniowych metodą współczynnika jednoczesności

Streszczenie
The subject matter of coefficient factors is not a frequent object of analysis in the scientific literature. However,
because of the use of this term in engineering tasks and because of the constantly changing manner of energy use (resulting
from the dissemination of new appliances), there is a need for current analysis and possible revision of the approach based
on coefficient factors. The aim of the paper is to draw attention to the problem of the need to update these coefficients and
compare currently recommended values of this coefficient in Poland. The coincidence factor method is based on two
parameters: coefficient factor as a function of the number of users and base value (average peak power of one user). Both
parameters should be revised over time.
